§ 38.2-5007. Interrogatories and depositions.

Any party to a proceeding under this chapter may, upon application to theCommission setting forth the materiality of the information requested, serveinterrogatories or cause the depositions of witnesses residing within orwithout the Commonwealth to be taken, the costs to be taxed as expensesincurred in connection with the filing of a claim, in accordance with §38.2-5009. Such depositions shall be taken after notice and in the mannerprescribed by law, for depositions in actions at law, except that they shallbe directed to the Commission, the Commissioner or the Deputy Commissionerbefore whom the proceedings may be pending.
