§ 38.2-5100. Purpose.

The purpose of this chapter is to regulate the formation and operation ofrisk retention groups and purchasing groups in this Commonwealth formedpursuant to the provisions of the federal Liability Risk Retention Act of1986 to the extent permitted by such law.
