§ 38.2-5106. Purchasing groups; exemption from certain laws relating to thegroup purchase of insurance.

Any purchasing group meeting the criteria established under the provisions ofthe federal Liability Risk Retention Act of 1986 shall be exempt from any lawof this Commonwealth relating to the creation of groups for the purchase ofinsurance, prohibition of group purchasing, or any law that woulddiscriminate against a purchasing group or its members. A purchasing groupshall be subject to all other applicable laws of this Commonwealth.
