§ 38.2-616. Service of process on insurance-support organizations.

For the purpose of this chapter, an insurance-support organizationtransacting business outside this Commonwealth that has an effect on a personresiding in this Commonwealth and which is alleged to violate this chaptershall be deemed to have appointed the clerk of the Commission to acceptservice of process on its behalf. Service on the clerk shall be made inaccordance with § 12.1-19.1.
