§ 38.2-6016. Applicability of securities laws.

Nothing in this chapter shall preempt or otherwise limit the provisions ofthe Virginia Securities Act (§ 13.1-501 et seq.), or any regulations,notices, bulletins or other interpretations issued by or through theCommission acting pursuant to the Virginia Securities Act. Compliance withthe provisions of this chapter shall not constitute compliance with anyapplicable provision of the Virginia Securities Act and any amendmentsthereto or any regulations, notices, bulletins, or other interpretationsissued by or through the Commission acting pursuant to the VirginiaSecurities Act.
