§ 38.2-901. References to former sections of Title 38 or Title 38.1.

Wherever any of the conditions, requirements, provisions or contents of anysection of Title 38 as such title existed prior to July 1, 1952, or Title38.1, as that title existed before July 1, 1986, are transferred to a new ordifferent section, and wherever any such old section is given a new sectionnumber in this title, all references to the former section of Title 38 orTitle 38.1 appearing elsewhere in this Code than in this title shall beconstrued to apply to the new or renumbered section containing theconditions, requirements, provisions or contents.
