§ 4.1-300. Illegal manufacture and bottling; penalty.

A. Except as otherwise provided in §§ 4.1-200 and 4.1-201, no person shallmanufacture alcoholic beverages in the Commonwealth without being licensedunder this title to manufacture such alcoholic beverages. Nor shall anyperson, other than a brewery licensee or bottler's licensee, bottle beer forsale.

B. The presence of mash at an unlicensed distillery shall constitutemanufacturing within the meaning of this section.

C. Any person convicted of a violation of this section shall be guilty of aClass 6 felony.
