§ 40.1-51.24. Department authorized to enter certain agreements.

The Department is hereby authorized to:

1. Make and enter into all contracts and agreements necessary or incidentalto the performance of the Department's duties and the execution of its powersunder this chapter including, but not limited to, contracts with the UnitedStates, other states, agencies, and governmental subdivisions of theCommonwealth.

2. Accept grants from the United States government, its agencies andinstrumentalities, and any other source. To these ends, the Department shallhave the power to comply with such conditions and execute such agreements asmay be necessary and desirable.
