§ 40.1-49.10. Duration of warrant.

Any administrative search warrant issued shall be effective for the timespecified therein, but not for a period of more than fifteen days, unlessextended or renewed by the judicial officer who signed and issued theoriginal warrant. The warrant shall be executed and shall be returned to thejudicial officer by whom it was issued within the time specified in thewarrant or within the extended or renewed time. The return shall list anyrecords removed or samples taken pursuant to the warrant. After theexpiration of such time, the warrant, unless executed, shall be void.
