§ 40.1-94. Proofs of age.

The evidence of age required by this chapter shall consist of one of thefollowing proofs of age, which shall be required in the order hereindesignated:

(1) A birth certificate or attested transcript issued by a registrar of vitalstatistics or other officer charged with the duty of recording births.

(2) A baptismal record or duly certified transcript thereof showing the dateof birth and place of baptism of the child.

(3) Other documentary proof of age specified by the Commissioner.
