§ 42.1-16. Bond of Librarian of Virginia.

The Librarian of Virginia shall give bond to the Commonwealth in the sum of$2,000, with sureties approved by the State Treasurer, subject to theapproval of the Governor, for the faithful discharge of his duties and thedelivery over to his successor of all the property of the Commonwealth in hispossession, which bond shall be recorded by the Secretary of the Commonwealthand deposited with the Comptroller.
