§ 44-14. Expenditures for Department.

All payments and disbursements payable out of the appropriation to theDepartment of Military Affairs shall be made by the State Treasurer uponwarrants of the Comptroller issued upon vouchers signed by the AdjutantGeneral or such person as the Adjutant General may designate for suchpurpose. Expenditures not specifically provided for but manifestly for thebenefit of the military service may be made by the Adjutant General with thewritten approval of the Governor.
