§ 44-71. How processes and sentences executed.

All processes, warrants and sentences of the courts named in the precedingsection (§ 44-70) shall be executed by any sheriff or deputy sheriff, or anysergeant, of any county, city or town, who shall be authorized by law toexecute or serve any civil or criminal process.
