§ 44-75.2. Militia training duty.

Subject to the direction and orders of the Governor, the Adjutant Generalshall provide for the training and administration of the National Guard andthe State Defense Force and shall require the members of the National Guardand the State Defense Force to attend such training when scheduled. Membersof the National Guard may assist on an unpaid, volunteer basis in thetraining and administration of the State Defense Force. Whether training in apaid or unpaid status, members of the National Guard and State Defense Forceshall at all times be subject to the orders of their respective commanders.
