§ 44-206. Issuing agents for sale of obligations of United States.

Notwithstanding the provisions of any other laws, all individuals,partnerships, associations or corporations organized, operating or doingbusiness under the laws of this Commonwealth are hereby authorized, duringthe continuance of any emergency proclaimed by the President of the UnitedStates or of a state of war between the United States and a foreign nation ornations, and for such time thereafter as may be expedient or necessary, andupon designation by and qualification with the Secretary of the Treasury ofthe United States or under his authority, to act as issuing agents for thesale and issue of obligations of the United States.
