§ 45.1-161.139. Inspection of underground equipment.

Once a week or more often if necessary, the mine foreman or a certifiedperson shall inspect electrical and diesel transportation equipment to assureits safe operating condition. Such equipment located on the surface shall beinspected as often as necessary but at least monthly. Such person shallcorrect any defect found during the inspection. A record of such examinationshall be maintained.
