§ 45.1-161.292:18. Nominations for the Board of Mineral Mining Examiners.

Nominations for appointments to the Board of Mineral Mining Examiners may besubmitted to the Governor by the Director and each organization of mineralminers and mineral industry interests in the Commonwealth and any otherperson. Nominations are to be made to the Governor by June 1 of the year inwhich the terms of appointments of members expire. In no case shall theGovernor be bound to make any appointment from the nominations submitted.
