§ 45.1-161.292:73. Mineral mining safety training program.

A. Each operator shall have a plan containing the following programs:training for new miners, training for newly-employed experienced miners,training for miners for new tasks, annual refresher training, and hazardtraining. For the purpose of this section, the definition of miner does notinclude scientific workers; delivery workers; customers, including commercialover-the-road truck drivers; vendors; or visitors.

B. The plan shall be available to the Director for review upon request.
