§ 45.1-161.297. Flame safety lamps.

Flame safety lamps shall not be used for detecting methane. The Directorshall determine whether flame safety lamps shall constitute approved devicesfor detecting oxygen deficiency. If flame safety lamps are approved for suchpurpose, the Director shall establish standards for their use and maintenance.
