§ 45.1-259. Applicability of chapter to public agencies, utilities andcorporations.

Any agency, unit, or instrumentality of the Commonwealth, or of federal orlocal government, including any publicly owned utility or publicly ownedcorporation of federal, state or local government, which proposes to engagein coal surface mining operations which are subject to the requirements ofthis chapter shall comply with the provisions of this chapter.
