§ 45.1-262. Eligible lands and water; priorities for expenditures.

A. Lands and water eligible for reclamation or drainage abatementexpenditures under this article are those which were mined for coal or whichwere affected by such mining, waste banks, coal processing, or other coalmining processes, and abandoned or left in an inadequate reclamation statusand for which there is no continuing reclamation responsibility under stateor federal laws.

B. The Director shall establish priorities in the State Reclamation Plan forthe expenditure of funds in conformance with the priorities set forth in §403 of the federal act.
