§ 45.1-266. Recordation and indexing of lien; notice.

It shall be the duty of the clerk in whose office the statement described in§ 45.1-265 is filed to record the same in the deed books of such office, andto index the same in the general index of deeds, in the name of theCommonwealth as well as the owner of the property, and showing the type ofsuch lien. From the time of such recording and indexing, all persons shall bedeemed to have notice thereof.
