45.1-269 - Satisfaction of lien.

§ 45.1-269. Satisfaction of lien.

Liens acquired under this article shall be satisfied to the extent of thevalue of the consideration received at the time of transfer of ownership. Anyunsatisfied portion shall remain as a lien on the property and shall besatisfied in accordance with this section. If an owner fails to satisfy alien as provided herein the Director may proceed to enforce the lien by abill filed in a court of equity having jurisdiction wherein the property orsome portion thereof is located.
