§ 45.1-382. Governor to act as representative to Commission.

A. The Governor is hereby designated as the official representative of theCommonwealth of Virginia on the Interstate Oil Compact Commission providedfor in the compact ratified by this chapter. The Governor shall exercise andperform for the Commonwealth all powers and duties imposed by the compactupon representatives to the Interstate Oil Compact Commission.

B. The Director is hereby designated to be the assistant representative andshall act as the official representative of the Commonwealth on theInterstate Oil Compact Commission when the authority to so act is delegatedto him by the Governor.
