§ 46.2-1084. Vehicle to have securely affixed seat for driver; location ofsuch seat.

It shall be unlawful for any person to drive any motor vehicle on a highwayin the Commonwealth unless it is equipped with a securely affixed seat forthe driver. The seat shall be so located as to permit the driver toadequately control the steering and braking mechanisms and other instrumentsnecessary for the safe operation of the motor vehicle.
