§ 46.2-1149.2. Permit authorizing transportation of tree-length logs.

The Commissioner, upon application made by the owner or operator of vehiclesused to transport tree-length logs, shall issue a permit authorizing theoperation on the highways of such vehicles in excess of lengths authorized inArticle 16 (§ 46.2-1112 et seq.) of this chapter. Such permit shall be issuedin accordance with regulations promulgated as provided in Chapter 40 (§2.2-4000 et seq.) of Title 2.2, subdivision (3) of § 33.1-12, and § 33.1-49.
