§ 46.2-1562. Dealer to insert his name, date of issuance and expiration, makeand identification number of vehicle.

Every dealer who issues temporary license plates shall insert clearly andindelibly on the face of each temporary license plate the name of the issuingdealer, the date of issuance and expiration, and the make and identificationnumber of the vehicle for which issued.
