§ 46.2-1992.6:1. Certification of certain nonprofit organizations.

Upon application to and approval by the Department, any nonprofitorganization exempt from taxation under § 501 (c) (3) of the Internal RevenueCode may be issued a nonprofit organization certificate authorizing it toconsign donated trailers to licensed Virginia trailer dealers when thenonprofit organization receives title to such trailers as qualifiedcharitable gifts and titles the trailers in the name of the nonprofitorganization.
