§ 46.2-1993.16. Display of salesperson's license; notice on termination.

No salesperson shall be employed by more than one dealer, unless the dealersare owned by the same person.

Each dealer shall maintain a list of salespersons employed.

Each salesperson, factory representative, and distributor representativeshall carry his license when engaged in his business and shall display it onrequest.

Each dealer and each motorcycle manufacturer and distributor shall notify theDepartment in writing not later than the tenth day of the month following thetermination of any licensed salesperson's or representative's employment. Inlieu of written notification, the license of the terminated salesperson orrepresentative may be returned to the Department annotated "terminated" onthe face of the license and signed and dated by the dealer-operator, owner,or officer.
