§ 46.2-1908.1. Certification of certain nonprofit organizations.

Upon application to and approval by the Department, any nonprofitorganization exempt from taxation under § 501 (c) (3) of the Internal RevenueCode may be issued a nonprofit organization certificate authorizing it toconsign donated T&M vehicles to licensed Virginia T&M vehicle dealers whenthe nonprofit organization receives title to such T&M vehicles as qualifiedcharitable gifts and titles the T&M vehicles in the name of the nonprofitorganization.
