§ 46.2-1918. Display of salesperson's license; notice on termination.

No salesperson shall be employed by more than one dealer, unless the dealersare owned by the same person.

Each dealer shall maintain a list of salespersons employed.

Each salesperson and each T&M vehicle and motor vehicle factoryrepresentative and distributor representative shall carry his license whenengaged in his business and shall display it on request.

Each dealer and each motor vehicle and T&M vehicle manufacturer anddistributor shall notify the Department in writing not later than the tenthday of the month following the termination of any licensed salesperson's orrepresentative's employment. In lieu of written notification, the license ofthe terminated salesperson or representative may be returned to theDepartment annotated "terminated" on the face of the license and signed anddated by the dealer-operator, owner, or officer.
