§ 46.2-2169. Tariffs showing rates and charges, etc.

Every household goods carrier by motor vehicle shall file with the Departmentat least thirty days before the effective date and make available for publicinspection, tariffs showing all the rates and charges for transportation, andall services in connection therewith. Such rates and charges shall be statedin terms of lawful money of the United States. The tariffs required by thissection shall be published, filed, and posted in such form and manner, andshall contain such information as the Department may prescribe. TheDepartment is authorized to reject any tariff filed with it that is not inconsonance with this section and with such regulations. Any tariff sorejected by the Department shall be void, and its use shall be unlawful.
