§ 46.2-363. Construction of article.

Nothing in this article shall be construed as amending, modifying, orrepealing any existing law of Virginia or any existing ordinance of anypolitical subdivision relating to the driving or licensing of motor vehicles,the licensing of persons to drive motor vehicles, or providing penalties forviolations. Nor shall this article preclude the exercise of the regulatorypowers of any division, agency, department, or political subdivision of theCommonwealth having the statutory power to regulate driving and licensing.
