§ 46.2-702.2. Fees for registration of vehicles specially equipped toaccommodate persons with disabilities.

In determining the fee to be charged for registration of any vehiclespecially equipped to be driven by or to transport persons with disabilities,the weight of the vehicle upon which such fee is based shall be the weight ofthe vehicle prior to the installation of such special equipment for theaccommodation of persons with disabilities.
