§ 46.2-879. No conviction for speeding in certain areas unless markersinstalled.

No person shall be convicted of a violation of a statute or an ordinanceenacted by local authorities pursuant to the provisions of § 46.2-1300decreasing the speed limit established in this article when such person hasexceeded the speed limit in an area where the speed limit has been decreasedunless such area is clearly indicated by a conspicuous marker at the terminiof such area.
