§ 48-3. Permitting continuation of nuisance; presentment against premises.

If any such nuisance be upon premises the owner of which did not create orcause such nuisance, but permitted its continuation, such owner shall, forthe purposes of this chapter, be deemed responsible for such nuisance, and ifsuch owner be not a resident or citizen of this Commonwealth, or one whoseresidence is not known, such presentment shall be against the premises uponwhich such nuisance is.
