§ 51.1-129. Limitation on membership.

No provision of any other statute which provides that the Commonwealth shallpay the entire or a portion of the cost of retirement benefits for employees,their surviving spouses, or other dependents shall apply to members orbeneficiaries of the retirement system, or to their surviving spouses, orother dependents. This provision shall not apply to any benefits extendedunder any agreement between the Commonwealth and the federal government, orany agency thereof, or any benefits extended under the Government EmployeesDeferred Compensation Plan Act (§ 51.1-600 et seq.).
