§ 51.1-504. Election of political subdivision to participate; approval byBoard.

Any political subdivision which has group life insurance with any insurancecompany or nonprofit association may continue the coverage, but shall notparticipate in this group insurance program while the other group lifeinsurance is in effect. Upon discontinuance of the other group lifeinsurance, the political subdivision may request coverage for eligibleemployees under this group insurance program.
