§ 52-42. Reward fund.

The Department, in cooperation with authorized insurers and insuranceprofessionals, may establish and operate a fund to offer monetary rewards forinformation sufficient to procure conviction in a court of appropriatejurisdiction of a person or persons responsible for insurance fraud. Nolaw-enforcement officer, employee of the Commission, employee of an insurancecompany or any insurance professional shall be eligible to receive suchreward.
