53.1-8 - Department of Corrections.

§ 53.1-8. Department of Corrections.

There shall be in the executive department a Department of Correctionsresponsible to the Governor. The Department shall be under the supervisionand management of the Director. The Director shall carry out his managementand supervisory powers in accordance with standards and goals of the Board.
