§ 53.1-36. Prisoners may assist in medical research programs.

Subject to the provisions of Chapter 5.1 (§ 32.1-162.16 et seq.) of Title32.1, the Director may permit such prisoners as may volunteer to undergoexperimental treatment or tests in state or federal medical research programs.
