§ 53.1-57. Payments by Commonwealth Transportation Board to Director forlabor.

The Commonwealth Transportation Board shall pay to the Director monthly forthe hours prisoners are employed on the state highway primary system andsecondary system and work incidental thereto, an amount agreed upon by theDepartment of Corrections and the Department of Transportation. Monthlypayments by the Board to the Director shall be made not later than thefifteenth day of the succeeding month after the work or labor has beenperformed for the Board.
