§ 54.1-2403.02. Prenatal education; cord blood banking.

Every practitioner licensed pursuant to this subtitle who renders prenatalcare, including any holder of a multistate licensure privilege to practicenursing, regardless of the site of such practice, shall, prior to thebeginning of his patient's third trimester of pregnancy or, if later, at thefirst visit of such pregnant woman to the provider, make available to thepatient information developed pursuant to subsection A of § 32.1-69.4relating to the women's options with respect to umbilical cord blood banking.
