§ 54.1-301. Department continued; appointment of Director.

The Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation within theexecutive branch is hereby continued. The Department shall be headed by aDirector who shall be appointed by the Governor, subject to confirmation bythe General Assembly, to serve at the pleasure of the Governor for a termcoincident with that of the Governor.
