§ 54.1-3207. Board of Optometry.

The Board of Optometry shall be composed of six members as follows: fivelicensed optometrists and one citizen member. The terms of office of themembers shall be four years. The professional members of the Board shall havebeen engaged in the practice of optometry for at least five years prior tothe date of their appointment. After July 1, 1996, all professional membersnewly appointed to the Board shall be certified in the administration oftherapeutic pharmaceutical agents pursuant to Article 5 (§ 54.1-3222 et seq.)of this chapter.
