§ 54.1-3505.1. Continued competency requirements.

The Board shall promulgate regulations establishing requirements for evidenceof continued competency as a condition of renewal of a license under theprovisions of this chapter. The Board may approve persons who provide oraccredit continuing education programs in order to accomplish the purposes ofthis section. The Board shall have the authority to grant exemptions orwaivers or to reduce the number of continuing education hours required incases of certified illness or undue hardship.
