54.1-3616 - Use of title "Doctor.".
§ 54.1-3616. Use of title "Doctor.".
No person regulated under this chapter shall use the title "Doctor" or theabbreviation "Dr." in writing or in advertising in connection with hispractice unless he simultaneously uses a clarifying title, initials,abbreviation or designation or language that identifies the type of practicefor which he is licensed.
