§ 54.1-514. Award of contracts by state agencies and political subdivisions.

A state agency or a political subdivision shall not award a contract inconnection with an asbestos project to a person who does not hold an asbestoscontractor's, inspector's, management planner's or project designer's licenseat the time the bid is submitted unless the general contractor to whom thecontract is awarded will be contractually committed to have all asbestosrelated work performed by its own subcontractors who are appropriatelylicensed as asbestos contractors, inspectors, management planners or projectdesigners pursuant to this chapter.
