§ 55-482. Public offering statement; cooperative securities.

If an interest in a cooperative is currently registered with the Securitiesand Exchange Commission of the United States, a declarant satisfies allrequirements relating to the preparation of a public offering statement ofthis chapter if he delivers to the purchaser and files with the agency a copyof the public offering statement filed with the Securities and ExchangeCommission. A cooperative interest is not a security under the provisions ofthe Securities Act, §§ 13.1-501 through 13.1-527.3.
