§ 55-97. Where to be recorded.

Notwithstanding any such writing shall be duly admitted to record in onecounty or corporation wherein there is real estate or goods or chattels, itshall nevertheless be void as to such creditors and purchasers in respect toother real estate or goods or chattels without the same, until it is dulyadmitted to record in the county or corporation wherein such other realestate or goods or chattels may be; but it shall be sufficient to record adeed releasing the lien of a deed of trust, in whole or in part, either inthe county or city in which the property thereby released is located, or inthe county or city in which the property so released was situated at the timeof the recordation of the deed of trust; and any recordation thereof so madeof any such release is hereby validated.
